31 Days to Work-At-Home Success - Day 30 Keeping Up to Speed

January 31st, 2008 by

After 12 years of school, 4 years of college, and 2 years of graduate school, I don’t ever want to go back to school. However that doesn’t mean that the learning stops.

Working at home is ever evolving. When I first wanted to work at home, the Internet was barely used and most homes didn’t have a computer. Amazon.com and the word spam didn’t exist. In a few short years, the Internet grew and revolutionized working at home. These changes are still happening and if you want to keep earning money you need to keep up with new trends.

Learning isn’t just about keeping informed of your industry, it also inspires and motivates you. It challenges you to new ways of thinking or new ideas to try. I makes you an expert in your field (sets you apart from everyone else you compete with).

So as you grow your business or home based career, make continuous learning a part of it. Read books and articles, listen to podcasts, take courses, and network with others.
